Browns RB Kareem Hunt—currently seeking a contract extension—did not participate in team drills for the second consecutive practice on Saturday. Hunt told the team multiple times recently, his current plan is to participate in individuals drills only. Friday marked the first 1/4 time since training camp started that Hunt didn't participate in the team portion of practice, per league sources. Their belief is Hunt’s partial ‘hold-in’ isn't health related. Hunt is subject to fines from the club. Hunt’s agent was at the Browns facility earlier this 2/4

Update to a previous report: Since news of the NFL’s decision to appeal Sue Robinson’s 6-game suspension of Deshaun Watson and attorney Tony Buzbee scheduling a press conference Thursday, I’ve since learned the adult son of one woman interviewed by the NFL in the Watson 1/6 case--who stated his mother switched her account & tone about Watson after negative allegations surfaced & later intimated she’d reward his silence monetarily —is in fact a woman Buzbee filed a lawsuit for, per league sources. Buzbee originally stated he did not represent 2/6

Notebook: My understanding per league sources, is there's some hope the specific CoVID strain that caused this #Ravens cluster of positives & proximity concerns is tailing off, and that the team’s current CoVID list total may reduce by several guys from tracing elimination soon. However, the NFL &/t team clearly need confirmation first. Meanwhile, I’m also hearing concerns about gameday locker room proximity being problematic, especially given recent tracing showing a link to how Ravens players were situated in a tighter indoor space.
