Listening to the Norman interview again and it's just blatant how he is trying to gatekeep the Palestine issue for reasons that have nothing to do with Palestine. He says so openly: he attacks the right out of a fear of possible blowback against American jews for the Iran war. The whole song and dance about how the right is ~~never~~ motivated by suffering or injustice is a thin veneer covering the real problem: according to Finkelstein himself(!!!), jews have acted as a fifth column inside America and are now risking some kind of reckoning.
