Poll workers reported problems with hundreds of Philadelphia's new voting machines when they were first used in last November's local elections. At least 1,703 of the same machines are back in use in today's primary. My scoop: reuters.com/article/us-usa… 1/6 The ExpressVote XL machines got lots of attention last year in Northampton County, PA, where election officials discovered they'd miscounted votes. Philadelphia didn't report any widespread issues - despite 605 calls about machine "trouble" that came to the city's help line. 2/6

Story: reuters.com/article/us-hea… 1/8 After the pandemic began, Ohio's legislature ruled that in-person voting would only be available for today's primary election at 88 polling places - compared to 4,000+ in the 2016 & 2018 general elections - and originally restricted it to disabled and homeless voters. 2/8

Full story: reut.rs/2GRKLVr (1/6) The records showed that in the eight months following Trump’s inauguration, foreign governments sent 13 notes to the State Department seeking permission to rent or renew leases in Trump World Tower -- more than in the previous two years combined.
