Interestingly, this columnist herself appears to have no tweets publicizing the disappearance of any non-white women. Why not use your platform to call attention to specific missing BIPOC women, rather than scold those searching for this murdered woman (a Serbian immigrant)? In her column, Joan talks about Gabby Petito by name & mentions the women murdered at U of Idaho, but she never specifies missing WOC. ok, I just phone banked and I have to say - I feel like it's a mess. pretty much no one answers the phone. I spoke with only two people, one person who was pleasant and already knew to vote, and another person who said they didn't want to discuss it. an organizer told me that people will make 120+ calls just to get one person on the phone. Seems at best incredibly inefficient, and at worst generating negative returns as repeat calls come off as harassment.

Phone banking is definitely not my jam.
