People are not comprehending or even letting it sink in that Mikasa in this song, keeps mentioning "Clean Earth". This would be mean Ragnarok or in this case, a 100% rumbling to clean the earth and start from scratch. A clean slate. So this song is quite literally talking about what Eren has done to the earth. The price for him cleaning the earth, was her own life. So she asks him before she dies, "If you could just smile for me, that's all I want."

//Timeline Explanation

When 138 was released, shingeki.net updated their "story" tab to show that the 138 "See you later, Eren" scene, was a prologue to the entire story. It happened before chapter 1. Which proves that the cabin timeline was indeed the first timeline. If you want to check for yourself, here's the link: shingeki.net/#/story

If you scroll down slowly, it will show "See you later, Eren" as the prologue before chapter 1.

Something is missing in the lyrics of this song. She actually says something in the song right after saying "I..." at the very end, but its not included in the official transcript for the lyrics.
