“Take it to the mountain top, if you've never heard it before. I am saying it to you this morning in the scheme of things as far as politics of Nigeria is concerned, President Muhammadu Buhari is number 15 and yours sincerely I am number 16.” -Tunde Bakare And as he made this earth shattering proclamation that the heavens had decreed him to be president of Nigeria, the congregation was thrown into a frenzy.

I've never sinned. I make this proclamation all the time to my monotheistic friends and they do not like it.

Sin is a transgression against a religious law. If I do not subscribe to the religion, then I do not sin. Straw arguments like “Oh, then you have a license to murder, rape and pillage” are easily dispatched.

There is a solid consensus among Talmudists that Zoroastrianism had a significant influence on the Talmud. I mean if you compare the Bavli to the Jerusalem Talmud, you can begin to see the massive Persian influence on the Babylonian Talmud. I remember one Jewish scholar noting that no religion has closer laws to Rabbinic Judaism than Zoroastrianism itself. If you are interested, Geoffrey Herman published a few interesting articles.

Reciting the Quran and you go think say unbelievers collect Allah's bread. He's so angry that people do not believe in him. 😂😂

"Neither their possessions nor their children will be any use to the disbelievers against God. The disbelievers will be fuel for the Fire." Quran 3:10 "Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire." [Quran 33:64]

"The [kufar] are those who are Cursed by Allah, by the angels, and by all mankind." [Quran 3:87]

"Disbelievers are the friends of Satan." [Quran 4:76] 🤣🤣

All religions comprise of three basic parts.

1. A theory of Everything (Theology or Philosophy)

2. That theory is then presented in the form of mythology - stories, Grand-narratives, legends, epics and anecdotes etc. 3. A blueprint for practice - ethics, morals, rituals, customs, traditions etc.

Some religions like the Abrahamic ones construct their theology on some mythical assumptions - in other words mythology is their foundation.

Despite of a heavy indoctrination through my entire childhood, I managed to eventually escape from my belief system. But that was not easy. Religion was essential part of my life. No other option existed for me. I have changed my mind through a careful study of basic laws of nature and discovering a scientific method as the best tool to confirm humankind's knowledge.

Yeah, what John C Carr said here,

"It seems to me that we get into trouble when we posit God as being anything other than what individuals and communities experience God to be. Saying/writing that God IS this, that or the other thing involves the same logical fallacy as the Cartesian "Cogito ergo sum." That is, the argument is circular.

PASCAL’S WAGER!

An argument often used by religious people is that they have nothing to lose by believing in God and that Atheists are risking eternity in Hell for no gain.

On the face of it, it is quite convincing but it falls apart once you seriously examine it.

- A thread The argument basically is you have 2 choices.

Either believe in God or don’t.

There are only 2 results.

Either God exists or he/she/it doesn’t.

What's the easiest way to make an atheist believe in God?

Extremely easy. Just provide objective evidence for God existing and leave the atheist alone. He will figure it out.🤞🏽

But before you get too excited, the following things do not qualify as objective evidence:

-A thread ANYTHING FROM A HOLY TEXT.

The only reason why holy texts are to be taken seriously is that they are allegedly inspired by a deity. Therefore it cannot be used as evidence for the deity’s existence because this would create a circular argument.

Is social media curing us from religious beliefs?

YES! ABSOLUTELY!

Religious beliefs thrive when they are sequestered and unquestioned. Living in a small homogeneous community works best. Religions can claim anything they like, such as “you get your morality from religion.” What happens when you look around and see other people who believe something different than you, and are also living good lives.

You may well realize that some of what you’ve been taught isn’t true, and that what you’re taught conflicts with what those other people are taught.

Bro, I love the way Muhammad REVEALED the Quran to HIMSELF to justified his womanizing.

Muhammad forbade others to keep more than four wives at a time but had himself taken a fifth wife.

He claimed Allah granted ONLY HIM the privilege of taking in more than 4 wives. Quran 33:50 "O Prophet, We have made lawful to you those of your wives, whose dowers you have paid, and those women who come into your possession out of the slave girls granted by Allah, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and aunts,...

Dear Christians, is there anything else to do in Heaven besides worship & praise God for all of eternity?

At least, Islam assures me of sex in paradise with virgins, and wine that won't get me intoxicated. Allah will grant all your desires in paradise. Even if you want Rihanna. "Indeed, the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves. They and their spouses shall be reclining on their couches in shady groves; therein there will be all kinds of fruits to eat, and they shall have all that they desire."

Quran 36:55-57

Give a Compliment! ❤❤❤

Tell someone that you care about them by complimenting them. It can be a big compliment or a small one. The point is that you share what good you see in them. That will help them develop confidence and a stronger sense of self. Volunteer!

Find a good cause you care about and give your time to it. Serve in some way. Volunteering transforms your hard work into other people’s happiness. This is one of the most common acts of kindness that you can do.

Depression means different things for different people. Whether it’s something you’ve dealt with your whole life, something that was triggered by an event, or something that frequently comes and goes, one thing is certain—depression steals so much of your life. For some, it can last for days and for others it can last for years. For me, the best way I can describe depression is by looking at this shit as a physical being. I imagine it as a monster!

Why do you pay tithe if I may ask? I very well know that nobody in the bible paid tithe because he was looking for breakthrough or financial reward like your pastors promise you. 😂😂 These pastors says the old testament is done away with... but they use an Old Testament scripture to collect tithes from the people.
