Broke down several games from this past season of Patrick Graham’s defense in Las Vegas. Here’s a thread of some features Steelers’ fans can expect to see from their new defensive coordinator.

1. Simulated pressure.

Graham doesn’t blitz much. Vegas was 25th in blitz frequency in 2025. But they use plenty of simulated pressures where they showed blitz before bailing out.

Here, Graham mugs the front pre-snap with seven defenders before ultimately rushing three and confusing Bo Nix into an errant throw. Lots for an offense to process with these types of movements. 2. Coverage disguise.

Graham aligns in a two-high shell on most snaps before rotating post-snap. As with the simulated pressures, he is forcing a QB to process information and slow his reaction time. This one, which morphs from two-high zone to man-free after the snap, forces an INT from Nix.
