SCOOP: Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, the Biden appointee who recently blocked the Trump administration’s voter verification system, is now facing a bar complaint accusing her of dishonesty, deceit, and conduct that interfered with the administration of justice during her time at DOJ. 🚨 EXCLUSIVE: A Rhode Island federal judge is facing a judicial misconduct complaint over her handling of a DOJ investigation into transgender drugs and surgeries for minors.

The complaint, filed by a conservative watchdog, accuses U.S. District Judge Mary McElroy of making false and politically motivated attacks against DOJ lawyers before referring them for possible discipline.

🧵Image Last July, DOJ issued administrative subpoenas to hospitals across the country seeking records related to transgender drugs and surgeries provided to minors.

According to court records, Rhode Island Hospital produced just a six-page document before an Aug. 7, 2025 compliance deadline and continued disputing the subpoena’s scope.
