This administration came in during chaos, a global pandemic, with no strategy employed by 45 or his minions who were too busy stuffing their coffers. They got to work even as they had to fight fraudsters and domestic terrorists who stormed our capitol.
In a years time we got a vaccine roll out despite those who still foolishly refuse, we had a child tax care credit, Biden has had to roll back, investigate and mitigate through issues both here and abroad thanks to the last fucking guy. But our Media wants you all to believe...

White women, I truly want to see so many of you as sisters. But too many of you have been water carriers for fuckery. Using your proximity towards toxic power to harm us. Downplaying our struggles and co opting them when it benefits you. I want to trust you...
But doing so puts me in unnecessary vulnerability. Some of you say you long for the solidarity my Sisters and I have. Unknowing of the tears you used against us and the tears we have had flow in private. Because when we cry most don't care. But when you do lives can and are loss.

Seeing folks use the sentiment of "ignore hateful comments" you make it sound so easy. But the reality is ignoring it does not stop the people spouting it. Confronting it, showing how hurt we are from their unsolicited hate is what we need to do.
Telling people who deal with bigoted or image attacks to just ignore the haters is so unrealistic. Even for a detached emotional person like me. For every hater I block there is always one that gives me pause. Why should I constantly act like the better person?

I said it in the spaces yesterday and I mean this there is a coordinated effort to not only depress voter turn out, but to target the most reliable voting block. They know we will stand in long ass lines, deal with tactics that will try to stop us from exercising our right...
They know that when we push back against their gerrymandering, their voting machines "not working" their trying to purge us from rolls, or out right throw out our ballots... That we still come out in percentages that make other Demographics envious.

Too many people want instant results to everything.
I get it, years of seeing court/crime/political dramas on TV makes you think everything can be fixed/solved/wrapped up in less than an hour.
That is not how life works.
Expecting quick prosecution of the 1/6 terrorists. Acting like they are being "let off" when many are sitting in jail, have had court appearances. But it doesnt fit your standards of "swift justice." Because you want entertainment over efficiency.

After watching last week's Last Week Tonight I'm convinced that too many believe the presidency has absolute reign. Ignore the fact that A. On a state level we need better in several states. B. White people tend to sit back/do bare minimum to out organize the GOP.
Its fairly clear if you gave a real fuck about women's rights. The rights of black and non black poc you would turn out in ways that would break any voter suppression that FYI doesn't generally target white people.

Some people get having constructive political criticism so skewed. No one is saying Biden is beyond reproach, but given everything he had to inherit/clean up. Given that freaking war raged for twenty years, there was no better way to have done this and you know it!
I am tired of trying to reason with people so assured that everything is wrong all the time. You all seem so stuck in misery. I get it having the stress of four years of chaos and unknown. But we have had Eight months of stability of folks busting their asses so you can...

There is part of me that hates how tribalism has been reduced to political parties. When the truth is historically proven that the thought of any tribes has been hunted down, eradicated and or enslaved by this current system of instability. If anything groups who...
Work together based off commonality of the good of all in their tribe are few and far between and if they don't share the same cultural norms they are deemed evil and snuffed out. As a child whose ancestors lost their connection it pains me to see how people look down on tribes.

I didn't want to RT someone for fear they would be attacked by folks. They linked an article about Meyers Briggs that I only alluded to because yesterday test origin was founded by racist eugenics types. I didn't want folks thinking this person was attacking me which often...
Is the initial response to anyone who isn't on board with a tweet of mine and I don't like that. Please don't do this. But I'd like to address my own issue with those from the psychological community attacking personality tests. This is purely from my own experience.

Its Juneteenth before it became a federal holiday it was a more "if you know you know" holiday for those of us whose ancestors gave their blood to the soil they toil for this nations wealth and industry. They were dehumanized and monopolized by a twisted system.
When Emancipation happened it was due to not wanting this nation to be split into two Americas. So many of this country's industrial titans, Ivy league schools even older hospitals owe their foundations and funding to the labor my ancestors provided. Yet folks want to act like...

Im seriously annoyed that four year ago we were told fuck our feelings. Expected to accept results even after our candidate won four million more of the popular vote. We didn't attack the capital we accepted the process! These assholes are so unused to being told no!
So used to society letting them get away with whatever the fuck their feelings dictate. Even TREASON! While other citizens cant even exist in their homes and neighborhoods without risking death by cop. I am pissed off right now.

In a response to a more foolish thread being passed around. A counter... For the first time in many years I feel ok to breathe. Not whole, still tired and worried, but just a little less than these last four years afforded.
I dont pretend this win will automatically change everything. You have people accustomed to society catering to them. Telling them their self absorbed, selfish hateful behavior is not acceptable. Not holding them accountable for their actions...

Every day I ask myself what am I going to do to inact lasting change? I stay learning practicing new languages, exercise. I need to practice drawing and finish up writing projects. I talk to at least one new person on here a day and listen to them. It may not seem like much...
But all of it adds up. Letting folks know they are not alone while working on keeping my mental and physical health in stable condition. Learning new things and watching historical shows to remind myself of past journeys and mistakes. Breathing when I need calm...

Just a thought I shared with a dear friend the other day. That everything that is going on this year was karmic. We had four years of the worse government incompetence, but it took a pandemic to show how vital competent leadership is.
I told her it's crazy the kids being put in cages, families seeking assylum being terrorized and brutalized didnt do it. Both siding Nazism after a the disastrous Charlottesville hate rally where Heather Heyer was murdered, didnt move the needle.

There sadly is Two Americas.
One where folks live with the everyday struggle of being "othered." For our color, gender identity, orientation. A life constantly having to prove our humanity. /1
The other America is a delusion of grandeur. Built off a lie of supremacy now upheld by peak mediocrity. People who cling to division, because equality is a mirror. /2

The VP position was enough for many to feel Biden was ready to take on Trump. So we know that whoever he picks will have all of our eyes upon them. His vp choice needs to be someone who reflects all of us.
Some of you feel its certain politicians because they give you a down home vibe. Or the reflect regional values. Some of you think we need a "progressive champion" even though your champ has no civil or social coalitions.

A perspective on the 🌹 brigade...
So as you know I have my opinions on Bernie Sanders. Why I feel he is the equivalent of malware bent on destroying the Democratic party. But what about his supporters?
Well this is my personal thoughts on the "revolution" or as I see them the biggest bunch of opportunists ever to troll online. You might ask Tyn why do you call them opportunists? Glad you asked.

Some of you need reminding of what's on the line.
A pandemic is spreading because of government ineptitude.
A rise of domestic terrorism
Hate groups openly marching
Children dying in Trump's concentration camps.
Other children being abused or given away with no documentation.
Four years of a revolving door of cabinet members.
Disastrous responses to storm victims in Puerto Rico, The US Virgin Islands and California.
Packing our courts with inexperienced right wing justices and giving us another SCOTUS with a history of being a sexual predator!

Americans are our own worse enemy when it comes to politics. We have become so lazy and apathetic that it's no wonder we are living in this waking nightmare of an era. /1
We allowed ourselves to be "influenced" to a point where by the time you start to question anything its too little to late. We let the media craft narratives like electability. /2

I woke with a sobering thought. So many Non black/native Americans can say with candor how removed from their ancestry they feel because of their immigrant heritage. While black and natives blood is in the very soil we walk on. We are not removed from our ancestors...
Or the horrors they faced here. Folks love to say it was "long ago..." but for many of us we have stories of lynching that only go back a few decades. And newer forms of it by police presently.

It would have broke my Grandmother's heart to see the state of the Democratic party today. But it wouldn't have surprised her. She knew no matter what that for every step forward, wed have a roadblock of racism. /1
She told me on my 18th birthday that I needed to vote because they dont want us to. She knew the they was white folks. She knew it because she grew up and lived during a time where voting could literally get you killed. /2
