Saint Constantine Sarbu (23 Oct)

To answer such a question, we need to understand what it means for "The Orthodox Church" to "accept" anything at all.

The holy youth Gabriel was born in Zabłudów to pious peasant parents, Peter and Anastasia Govdel, who named him after the Archangel.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say "Christ was born on [Dec 25]," however the Bible does describe the timing of Christ's birth. We can calculate this from context clues given in the Bible.
Modern Judaism starts after the destruction of the Temple AD 70, and the diaspora. Without the Temple, there is no Kohen Gadol (High Priest), sacrifices cannot be made, the ecclesial lunar calendar cannot progress, and the faith in its original format cannot continue.

Often, we can feel as though holiness is impossible or that salvation is beyond us because all our Saints are martyrs or monks or something we don't think we could be.
Within the Orthodox Church, there of course is a particular order of the local jurisdictions, which is enumerated in the Diptychs. However, the place of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem as the origin and rightful Mother of all Churches is solidified by history.
1. Historical Background

When the Patriarchs of Alexandria, Antioch, and Jerusalem dispatched Metropolitan Arsenios of Caesarea with the authority of the Patriarchal Synaxis to depose all uniate Bishops in Constantinople, he deposed Patriarch Gregory III Mammas and Saint Constantine exiled him West.
Although, not every instance of Dragons appearing in the Lives of the Saints is a living creature. Many times, Dragons are forms taken on by demons or a metaphor. Those stories in particular will NOT be included in this thread. We will only show examples of living Dragons.

The "Part II" of Isaac the Syrian did not belong to our Saint Isaac the Syrian, but to the Nestorian one born in 613. He is appropriately called "Pseudo Isaac." In these texts, which our Saints never read, the heretics are praised and universal salvation is taught in them.
"What else, therefore, do you mean by 'anathema' than: let this man be consigned to the Devil, let him no longer have any possibility of salvation, and let him be estranged from Christ?"
A little background:

Much of this thread is being taken almost verbatim from @/percy_gryce. This thread will remain a good reference for Orthodox Christians and will provide more examples from before and after the schism of the latins.
In the first place, we must understand dogs and men before understanding dog-headed men. The Scriptures speak of dogs in a deragatory manner. The are flesh eaters in 2 Kings 9. Even Christ in Matthew 15 challenges the faith of the Caananite woman by equating her to a dog.

So says Saint John of Kronstadt,

"..he splendidly defended Christianity, wonderfully expounded Scripture, and wrote a noble exhortation to martyrdom. But he was also the father of Arianism, and worst of all, said that hellfire would not last forever."
