Hund inscription of the chief queen Kāmeśvaridevi, a date close to 168-69 of the Şahi Era. i.e. A.D. 1018-1019. Kāmeśvarīdevī had a close blood-relationship with King Anantadeva(kashmiri brahmin) of Kashmir. Possibly cousins; which proves SHAHI's were kashmiri brahmins too Image

According to Kalhaņa Lalliya was succeeded by Toramāņa renamed Kamaluka, Alberuni mentions Sämand (Samantadeva) as the successor of Kallara. Kalhana's information has to be rejected in the face of Al-Beruni's statement, as the latter was a contemporary writer. Image
