Ancient Knowledge - Treasure of India
Ancient Indian knowledge is a guiding light for humanity. The knowledge was carefully passed on from generation to generation in oral tradition, advent of written format predominantly seen in manuscripts strengthened knowledge transmissn. The library at Kanchi Math has several such manuscripts and have been carefully preserved in the International Library at Enathur. His Holiness in his yatras esp in rural TN & AP had made it a point to create awareness to preserve and collect such manuscripts.

Vyasa Bharata, #Veda, #Aagama, Shilpa kalaathi Sadas - Cultural Conference held at #Tindivanam from 5-10 Jun. 2019 with blessings and presence of Pujyashri #Shankaracharya Swamigal. The Sadas (conference ) was a celebration of our culture and traditions which saw participation of the young, and old, students and stalwarts.

Shankara Jayanthi Mahotsavam - Procession held- 9 May 2019

Sri Adi Sankara Jayanti was celebrated amidst festive mood as people gathered at Shrimatam camp in Thoraipakkam in the benign presence of HH Pujya Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal. Utsava murti of Sri Adi Sankara was decorated, placed on a palanquin and taken in procession.
The procession headed by His Holiness comprised of Melam, Veda chanting, Vishnu Sahasranama parayana, Bhajans and Nama Sankeertanam, sung in praise of the Jagadguru Sri Adi Sankara.

2nd Parasuram Kund Yatra performed in Arunachal Pradesh with benign blessings of Jagadguru from 12-16 January 2019. 65 yatris from Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Guwahati and Sydney participated & had punya snanam in the Lohit River during the Uttarayana Punyakaalam. Go-Poojai, Homam, Veda Parayanam, Suryanamaskara Parayanam, Sloka Parayanam, Nama Sankeertanam and Anna Daanam were performed at Parasuram Kund. Abhishekam and Poojai was done to the Adi Sankara Bhagavadpadal vigraham at the Parasuram Mandir Complex.

Arrival at Tiruvanaikaval -5th Dec, 2018
HH Pujyashri Shankaracharya Swamigal was received by devotees in the city outskirts near Samayapuram, enroute Tiruvanaikaval. The entourage then reached the Western Gopuram of Sri Akhilandeshwari Amman Sameta Sri Jambukeshwara Swamy Temple His Holiness was received with Purnakumbha Swagatham and Temple honours led by temple Pandits, devotees and senior officials of the Devasthanam.
His Holiness was taken in a procession from the Western Gopuram till " Jagadguru Vidyasthanam" Shankara Matam,on North Mada Street
