After a lot of anxiety and not a few panic attacks since the Brexit vote, I decided enough was enough. Today I applied for Pre-Settled Status. I downloaded the EU Exit: ID Document Check app from the Google Play Store. 1/7 Knowing this would require my Android phone's NFC feature, the first thing I did was to go to my phone's settings and activate it w/ a tap because otherwise, it's turned off by default to save battery.
