Today at @OSCE 🇷🇺Russia, when speaking about gender equality (GE),referred to women as “the weak gender”.

The absolute majority of OSCE participating States, including 🇱🇻Latvia, objected the use of such term as unacceptable.

Some of the responses to 🇷🇺:

1/4 🇸🇪no woman in this hall is per definition weak
🇸🇲 on top of everything - it is simply wrong
🇱🇹 this is not a language to refer to any person
🇷🇴 total lack of understanding of OSCE committments for GE
🇲🇰 this is a chauvinist vocabulary, a segregationist one
