I hate how British people use the word "concerns". Concerns are what you have when you aren't sure of something, before you know. "I am concerned that sofa won't fit through the doorway". Then you check and find out it does. The only action from concern should be investigate
"We've taken action because of concerns" = We have done something without checking if it was right or not. We acted without knowing
It *may* be the right action, but also it may not, and you didn't know before you did it because you didn't act on information, you acted on worry

I'm not convinced that Nicola Sturgeon was "brought down by the GRA Reform" or that it was wrong for her to try and reform it (obvs), but I totally agree that most people don't care about trans rights and that focussing on them *for left or right* is not a vote winner
I don't think we've seen an example anywhere in the world, left or right, in any elections from the last decade where focussing on trans issues helped win. In a lot of cases (USA, Australia) it was just an expensive way to tell voters you're not interested in "real" issues
