Reflecting on my trip to Cuba, I think one of the things that has stuck with me most is that Cubans strongly believe in the possibility of revolution in North America, sometimes more than we believe in it ourselves.

You have a lot of people that say things like, “people in the US are too backwards for socialism!”
Who’s interest does the idea that people are too backwards for revolution serve? The capitalists or the people?
