🧵Of all the fights to pick, the House Republicans chose trial court funding. They have had the gavel & opportunity to move towards a constitutional and fair funding model for over a decade. For reasons that surpass understanding & reason, they voted “No.” #mileg 👩‍⚖️1/ Two bills to address court funding were on the board. This was a bipartisan effort, and I thank my GOP colleague, Rep. These educators didn’t go because they were invited, but because they know they are under attack & are trying to understand why. They were called terrible things at this meeting, & this final statement was followed by an eruption of applause. 🧵2/
