HB 2 by @BradBuckleyDVM does *a lot* for schools:
➡️Increases Basic Allotment by $220, and increases the % that must go toward pay raises
➡️Increases small/midsized allotment
➡️Increases comp ed weights
➡️Increases TIA amounts
➡️Creates Fine Arts allotment
➡️Creates high school advising allotment
➡️Effectively "settles up" school funding more frequently
➡️Provides $55/ADA for schools in ESC regions 1-5 to help offset ultra-high insurance premiums
➡️Addresses multiple tax (& recapture-specific) issues...more on that later

If lawmakers truly want the best for students (which I believe is true in most cases), why undo the work of past legislatures in setting (1)
