sometimes i feel pressure to perform, online, my professional achievements or acts of volunteerism/engagement with more marginalised communities... but i always feel so disingenuous about it
it's not like these things aren't a part of my life or don't matter to me. they do, and i know that i have a lot of friends who enjoy celebrating with me, and sometimes i *do* want to talk about it and be happy in my own successes or commiserate about my failures
