Maybe humans love to be outraged simply because, on average, it happens to be a convenient way to channel the energy we should be using to create, make and grow, but likely are procrastinating on or denying.

It’s an “acceptable” way to access to our unexpressed lives and energy. Being outraged or angry is particularly enjoyable because it is directed externally.

It’s always about someone else or something else. And never about you.

So it provides a low risk environment to express energy that is otherwise hidden below the surface.

It keeps you safe.
