I got a new mechanical keyboard for Christmas, which threw me DEEP into the world of custom-made artisanal keycaps and...it's pretty crazy... Image But first, what is a mechanical keyboard? When you press down on a standard "membrane" keyboard, a rubber dome depresses and contacts a conductive layer to register the keypress.
