Okay, some things that ought to be said at this moment:
Can these sudden & occasional middle-class outbursts of rage or whatever be trusted? These protests r always couched in a vocabulary that talk of a 'perfect victim' & a woman's body which is allowed to carry honour. +
This should not have happened to her, not because her body was violated & that is wrong. But b/c 'she was a doctor', 'she was practicing a nobel profession', 'she wasn't even wearing anything like that', 'she was doing a 36 hours duty', 'she was meritorious' etc etc. +

Since the time u start reading on ur research area, make a habit of making detailed typed notes and categorise them into folders. For eg, if u r reading something on methodology, put it in a section on method.

On Research Fellowships in India:
PhD demands a certain level of material comfort & financial stability which at this point is completely unavailable to researchers working in our part of the world.

* Non-NET: The amount is extremely low in most of the universities owing to the funds unavailability to Public Uni., keeping in view the cost of living in today's times.
