🧵1/10: HUMBLE BEGINNINGS : Lukas wasn’t born into money or a family with a background in finance. The son of an engineer who worked in metals, Lukas grew up initially in France until age 8 when the family moved to Germany for better opportunities after the financial crash of 2008.
🧵1/10 : BEGINNINGS : Madaz was earning $18ph in a standard 9-5 day job when a colleague in his department rocked into work one day in an expensive Lotus sports car. Max was intrigued as he knew the guy was earning similar to him! On enquiry he learned that his friend had made $80K that summer buying $BP after it tanked following the DeepWater Horizon oil spill. Max wanted in on this action and so opened an E-Trade account with an initial deposit of just $6K.
🧵1/10 : EARLY DAYS : Kristjan showed great drive and belief by dropping out of college in 2011 to pursue trading full time. Starting with a $5k account, he blew most of it in the first 2 months but wasn’t deterred. He went back to work as a part-time security guard in his native Sweden and kept reloading his account until he finally became profitable after 2 years of day trading. He then transitioned to swing trading.
