Just a heads up to those contemplating coming to the UK via the nurse aid route,be aware that the entry level salary at circa Ā£21 K to Ā£24K per annum is barely enough to cover your monthly living costs more so in London. The rentals,transport costs,energy bills ,graze etc will wipe you out the day you get paid. We used to call it BSAP (Broke Soon After Pay) in Arcadia and Kong! The only way one can ā€œmake itā€ is when there are two pay cheques coming into the household every month.
