Lets change that in November. Speak politics to everyone you meet. Keep it civil. Don't chastise them for their party affiliation. Just share your point of view. If you have one person out of 10 that is mulling over your thoughts, you are doing well. Offer to stay in touch. ASK them to participate in events, political or not. We all know the Bidens have no relevance to these hearings. Maybe you could try listening to the facts instead of worrying about how much candy you need to supply.
