Where am I? Hint.

Me, one month ago, enthusiastically booking an 08:00 flight.
Me, today, realizing I have to get up at 04:30 tomorrow... WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS TO MYSELF? So, tomollo, I have two flights. A bit retarded to fly 4 hours south and west, to then fly 2.5 hours slightly north and east... But that's post-Covid flying for you... There used to be a DragonAir flight HKG-BKI, second screenshot, followed by a 30-mn hop on a turboprop.

I used to be on some travel forums, but it appeared very quickly they were mostly a waste of time – they were full of Norteamericanos who have very little clue about international travel, and view everything though their very narrow lens of US domestic travel. Being clueless is one thing – happens to everybody after all at some point... – but being at the same time assertive and dismissive, while displaying a sheer lack of knowledge on the subject was a constant with them.

So, .@hkpoliceforce, how many more people need to die in my hood before you start doing something about illegal parking...? @hkpoliceforce ..........

Preparing my first biz trip in 3 years – I am obviously rusty... I used to be good at that stuff, now it feels like I am flailing around... Things are however coming – slowly – together. I managed to get my samples from France BEFORE the departure date! Wasn't a given outcome... The mere fact that I have to make checklists is disconcerting. But at least – hopefully! – I won't forget anything...
