Teachers, administrators, and support staff who died this spring from COVID-19.

They didn't decide to work in education to become rich. They chose to follow their hearts and hoped to make a difference in a child's life.

Thread.

@FDRLST The most obvious mistake is that the author confuses science with technology.

Science is is just the study or search for knowledge. "ology" means a branch of knowledge. (Biology, Geology, Ecology)

Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. @FDRLST Second, of course nitrogen was found in thin air, since air is made up of 78% nitrogen.

Nitrogen is essential for making proteins and DNA but plants & animals can't use the nitrogen gas from the air. We have to rely upon bacteria that grow on the roots of legume plants.

Summary:

First - Italy had a higher than usual number of pneumonia cases which they think now were probably COVID-19. Since they didn't quarantine, the health facilities, themselves, became infection sites. Second - It spread, undetected for a long time, creating lots of transmissions chains. (This is why the US is asking us to use social distancing)

Third - Italy is testing more than other nations, more than 42,000 people have been tested.

@IWF The Electoral College was begun to appease the southern states in which 40% of their population were slaves, who could not vote. That is where the 'slaves count as 3/5's of a person' thing came from. @IWF The practice of counting non-voting slaves for purposes of Electoral College votes gave the south more power and explains why the majority of our first presidents were from the south.

@thecjpearson It was not a misspeak, it was a 'misthink'.

I can understand how some think that there is nothing wrong with liking your nation and wanting your nation to do well.

But Hitler didn't think like this.

That was the problem with Hitler, NOT globalism. @thecjpearson Hitler believed his nation, Germany, could only do well if the people were all Aryans, thought the way he dictated them to think, and did exactly as they were told.

Anyone who didn't fit into those categories had possessions taken, were demeaned, tortured, and killed,
