A little over a year ago, I was approached by my lecturer to enter a new WorldSkills competition, Cyber Security. At this point in my studies, I had no experience with CTFs and with only 3 weeks to prepare, I had my work cut out for me. (1/31) After 3 weeks of hard training, I entered my regional WorldSkills competition. Coming SECOND, I was invited to compete at the national competition at the NEC. I had trained intensively for 3 weeks but to be told I placed that high in the country? I was astonished! (2/31)
