Some people approached me after my last thread with some questions so I'm just gonna drop what's been working for me for JP learning resources.

First, before you do ANYTHING else. Learn Hiragana and Katakana. This will be your foundation. To do this there are several websites, and you can also use the kana lessons in an app like Duolingo.
