THREAD; So, you wanna build a modern pole building and you're not sure where to start. "Screwing down tin doesn't sound too hard, but how do I get there?" Here's a step by step guide (my way) to building a small barn/garage. Much of this also applies to decks and porches. (1) Image
Image Well, it all starts under the barn. We almost certainly need to move a little dirt. We want that building UP with good drainage away. We're gonna first drive some grade stakes to represent each corner of the building and paint level marks. A transit very useful here. (2)
