Here's Bev Jackson, founder of LGB Alliance, suggesting that if your son likes ballet or your daughter likes rugby means they "may grow up to be gay".
That's a regressive stereotype that is sexist and homophobic. Anyone might grow up to be gay, whether they like ballet or rugby.
Secondly, Bev manages to argue against herself.
If parenting means "nurturing unique personalities to maturity" then that includes children growing up to be trans, non-binary, queer, lesbian, bisexual or gay.
Children who are gender diverse can grow up to be anything they want.
One is prime-time television that's meant for everyone to watch and feel comfortable, the other is GAY F-ING PRIDE.
Ahem. Pardon our language, we mean LGBTQ+ Pride. Obvs. 😉🏳️🌈❤️🏳️⚧️

This is a very worrying development. LGB Alliance, an organisation that compared the LGBTQ+ community to bestiality and claims openly that "there is no LGBT+ community", has been given lottery funding to set up a phone line to talk to vulnerable young people. A shocking decision.
Please contact @TNLComFund and @TNLUK and query how an organisation with a track record as contentious and controversial as the LGB Alliance, which exists specifically to exclude trans & non-binary people, & campaigned against banning conversion therapy, has been awarded funding.

Following the Alison Bailey tribunal a lot of people seem surprised that Stonewall admit to pushing LGBTQ+ equality further than the current law.
Like pushing for an equal age of consent, LGBTQ+ protections in the Equality Act, equal marriage etc.
It's literally why they exist.
Oh my god, you want to get rid of Section 28 - that's Stonewall Law!
Oh my god, you want to serve openly in the armed forces - that's Stonewall Law!
Oh my god, you want not to be sacked for being a lesbian teacher - That's Stonewall Law!
