In 1898, Samuel Langley received $70,000 from the US Government to invent a flying machine.

His failed attempts led the NY Times to declare that an airplane would only be invented by the "efforts of mathematicians and mechanicians in from one million to ten million years"

1/ Two months and eight days later, on Dec. 17, 1903, two bicycle entrepeneurs with no more than a highschool education, did just that.

With a plane that cost $1000, Orville and Wilbur Wright proved that powered flight was possible.

Facebook has every right to not host speech they don't want to.

It doesn't matter how many government subsidies they get, or how big they are, or if other social media companies did the same thing.

Government should never force companies to host speech.

Ever. Section 230 protects everyone, social media companies and their users, from being sued for what someone else said.

That's exactly as it should be.
