@MikayesFiona 1) My thoughts on Tulsi from a non-vet perspective. Whenever I thank a vet for their service the conversation only goes 2 ways:
A. (Never saw combat) They look down, get a little flustered and say they were in logistics or never left San Diego or whatever. Then..
2) they ALWAYS say "the ones who deserve the thanks are those who saw combat." They deliberately play down their service role.
B) (saw real combat) These vets look you in the eye, give you a real firm handshake and say that my thanks means a lot to them. Then with soulful eyes..
