The issue of Religious Bigotry did not start from the North

Let's go back to 1962, when a Northern Muslim, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa registered Nigeria as a member of the World Council of Churches and International Bible Society in 1963, no complain from the Muslim North. Saturday was a working day in Nigeria until 1973, Gowon, a Christian minority from the North declared it a work free day, to enable the Seventh Day Adventist Church to worship, no complain from the Muslim North.

In February 1979, Olusegun Obasanjo denied Ahmed Deedat, an Islamic

For days she undressed and stared in the mirror for a few minutes, I pretended that I did not see her, but I noticed that she looked worried, she tightened her belly, raised her breasts, raised her butt, as if everything were out of place.

One day I took the mirror out of the room and hid it. She came home from work, undressed, turned to the wall and freaked out!

-Where is the mirror?

I said -I took it out

She asked -Why did you take it out ...

- because it does not reflect what I see! I see a beautiful woman, who works hard to achieve

REMINISCENCE

Our first three months in Liberia was tough.

The ECOMOG food was nothing to write home about.

The operation allowance was quarterly.

While we kept eyes on Charles Taylor rebels hunger was "marking time" on everyone of us.

My platoon commander in Camp 8, the then Capt Attahiru was feeling it too but his reassurance to his boys kept us going.

"Gentlemen, this is the end of our second month in the bush. We will have our operation allowance next month Insha Allah."

Then from nowhere, breadfruit sprang up on a tree 🌳 in the camp.

THIS YOU WILL NEVER LEARN IN SCHOOL
° Area of Africa = 30.37 million km2
° Area of China = 9.6 million km2
° US area = 9.8 million km2
° Area of Europe = 10.18 million km2
● Africa is bigger than all of Europe, China and the United States of America combined. ● But on most world maps, Africa is represented in a small size.
This is done deliberately to create the visual effect of a small Africa to manipulate, brainwash and deceive Africans wherever they are.
- Africa has 60% of arable land;
- Africa has 90% of the raw material reserve

If Festus Keyamo had dig deep he shouldn't have responded to Eeadris Abdulkarim but rather put the blame on that unholy Assembly called PDP because they're the reason why most of our Yeyebrities today see themselves as too important and too special.. I was privileged to know through one of my brother back then in 2014 prior to the 2015 general election. Eedris Abdulkarim was living in a rented apartment somewhere in Wuse2 Abuja where about 2million naira was paid as house rent. And he enjoyed weekly largesse

The Naija Mindset

I recall when I came to London in 2009. My dad was at Heathrow Airport to welcome me. He bought an Oyster card for me. The card is your ticket to ride on all London buses and trains. You can buy a weekly, monthly, daily or ‘Pay As You Go’ pass.

The Oyster card opens the barriers before you board the train or exit the train station. So, as my dad used his ticket, the barriers opened, he went through and just before it would close, I quickly followed him behind and passed through.

I don’t know

Daily trust interview with Sheik Gumi:
Q: As you move to some of these dangerous terrains, don’t you fear for your safety?

I am not afraid of the bandits. I am more afraid of those people who capitalize and exploit them. When we asked some of the bandits why they kidnap people, they said they don’t know the rich people, they don’t go to towns but there are people in the cities who ask them to attack certain rich people. So, the bandits are only agents. When the ransom is paid, it belongs to those people in the town, the bandits are only

Yesterday while in search of links to the 1914 Amalgamation, I first visited the court inside the TBS and I was directed to the Ikeja HQ, but on second thought, I decided to visit what I knew as the Lagos High Court, Igbosere, so I could use their library. What I saw got me so emotional that tears battled with my eyes and won. This is the remains of one of Nigeria’s oldest colonial judicial buildings. This is or rather was the Lagos Supreme Court that played great role in the 1914 Amalgamation. This court premises use to house

My dear family, today I was billed to be cross-examined by the Judicial Panel on the Lekki Toll Gate incident.

However, before the cross examination, the panel insisted on playing the Lekki Toll Gate CCTV footage.

This was played for 3 hours during which absolutely nothing untowards showed up on the footage. In fact, if anything, it showed the Soldiers dealing with the hoodlums by firing into the air and clearing the Toll Gate in a professional manner that put in lie to the videos that have been making the rounds on the social media and CNN.
