So I just was reading about Disney World's MagicBands and the NBA Bubble, and how they were configured to allow for contact tracing. I'm curious why we couldn't leverage that on a city or state level--cheap FitBit wristbands. 1/ Compared to the cost we're experiencing with the economic crush of quarantine, supplying everyone in, say, California with a band would seem WAY cheaper. The MagicBands would eliminate needing to use our phones, so less data privacy concern. 2/
