Dear trans people who found out today about Judaism’s positing of eight genders,
If you think Judaism sounds like a thing that might work for you, that’s cool, you are welcome to inquire, but Jews have a VERY DIFFERENT perspective on applicants than Christianity.
If you want to become Jewish, this isn’t just joining a congregation, or changing your religion, conversion involves being brought into a semi-closed ethnoreligious community, and we don’t actively seek out new members. We used to. It didn’t end well for us. We’re not over it.

@lura_groen@Jurgan15@Pr_JT_Sipf It is a state that some people attempt to reach by drinking extremely strong coffee, and some people go through life in a constant state of it where they are at -2 as a norm, and they don’t relate to people easily as a result.
