1) When Reagan introduced Star Wars, it was a myth that he said it would be ready quickly. Internal docs from the Reagan Archives show he expected a 20 year timeline.

2) But as it became clear that the Soviets & Gorby were frothing about it, the DoD decided to have some fun. Image 3) The first two tests involving shooting down a missile with a laser were failures. But the third was a success . . . or was it?

4) That was the story the SDI office put out--but it was a flop too. Only the story worked. Gorby figured we were by 1987 close to deploying.

1) I been sayin' it and sayin' it. Ain't I been sayin' it? (Cue Russell Case from "Independence Day"): new polling shows President Trump beating Gruesome and Big Mike WORSE than he beats Rutabaga.

They ain't replacing Rutabaga. Image 2) Back in December Zen Master said the ballots case would be 9-0 for Trump; that the two federal cases would not take place before the election; and he has said the immunity case will be 6-3 Trump.

3) (He reasons that BECAUSE the majority will clearly be for Trump . . .

@NoahWhey @ColBannister @Glenandjojo @DanielRStreet1 @tracybeanz 1) No. Get real. I'm serious, just stop. Apply historical reality. When Trump was first informed of the virus, by ALL government medical authorities, he was told (based on the Neal Ferguson UK "study" that 20m in the US would die. 20m!! @NoahWhey @ColBannister @Glenandjojo @DanielRStreet1 @tracybeanz 2) CDC, the National Institute for Allergy and Infections Diseases (NIAID), and virtually EVERY foreign medical authority agreed with this study.

3) It doesn't matter that the study was later proven bogus. YOU ACT ON WHAT YOU HAVE.

1) Listening to the squeals coming from the pancreatic poochdoochers on the left about the 9-0 (that's NINE ZIP, fungaldrippers!) Supreme Court decision, Zen Master and I thought it would be fun to trip down spoogie lane with these people. Don't step in the ooze! 2) Let's begin with this snotdoodle, Michael Luttig who came within a hair follicle of being named to the Supreme Court by W (among his other failures). In Dec., he called the unconstitutional attempt to ban President Trump from the ballot "masterful."

1) From Zen Master: the April 22 hearing probably means we'll get a June ruling on immunity.

2) This has titanic implications, even in the narrow sense Trump has sought. For example, if the Court ruled that presidents do not necessarily have immunity for actions . . . 2) contd . . . during their term in office, then W could be charged with "war crimes," Obama could be charged with murder of a U.S. citizen whom he ordered drone-bombed because Obama called him a "terrorist," and so on.

3) This case would not involve immunity behond term.

1) So the failing neocon spoogebuckets like Charles "lil tykes" Sykes, Jonah Goldburger, and Bill Broken Kristol are whining that when Trump wins "conservative ideas" will die, and then they dishonestly tie themselves to one of our greatest presidents, the Gipper. 2) I know just a little about the Gipper. I worked an event in Santa Barbara with him. I have done more research in the Reagan Papers in Simi Valley than ANY other Reagan researcher so far.

3) They apparently know nothing of The Gipper. Image

1) Very important article I missed in 2022 about pop culture. Hat tip to Noah Smith, my favorite lib.

2) The vast majority of movies now are sequels, prequels, spinoffs of existing franchises, or reboots. It takes an exceptional "event"-driven movie such as "Sound of Freedom." 3) In a study by Adam Mastroianni called "Pop Culture has Become and Oligopoly," he found the same trend everywhere but television/streaming.

4) Book sales in the top 10 are overwhelmingly by other authors who have books in the top 10.

1) Lotsa new followers, so let me recap. I, Rich Baris @Peoples_Pundit & a handful of others predicted in Oct. 2016 Trump would win.

At that time, I had written A BOOK, called "How Trump Won." No one would take it. I predicted on Twit between 300-320 electoral votes Image @Peoples_Pundit 2) But I was off in 2020. Not by much (44,000 votes in three states was the actual margin), but off. We all know it was fraud, but so far hasn't been proven in a court of law. Even then, they BARELY stole the EC.

3) I flat missed 2022, saying Lake & Walker would win.

1) This is so beautiful I'm just chortling.
2) They can't get rid of Harris. They have tried unsuccessfully for 2.5 years. Why do you think they could do it in 2 months?
3) HOWEVER, regardless of who goes first--Harris or Rutabaga--a VEEP MUST BE NAMED. 4) Say they remove Rutabaga. Harris becomes Pres. She picks a veep.

5) Unless she is totally insane, knowing that they want to unseat her, she would NEVER pick Mike or Newsome or anyone who was a legit threat to be pres as her veep.

1) This is very important. First, the Hill is a DemoKKKrat strategic mouthpiece. Things don't appear there that are not blessed by the demonic cabal at the top.thehill.com/opinion/immigr… 2) So the brainfarts at the top of the totem pole realize that their illegal criminal alien package is NOT WORKING AT ALL, especially with (mostly black) inner city residents who are bearing the brunt of this.

1) I feel that God has placed on my heart a mission in this political season, one of encouragement, exhortation, and hope.

2) To me, the #1 problem facing MAGA/conservatives, and indeed the USA is
a spirit of defeat, depression, and helplessness.

3) This is not godly. 4) Paul warned the early church about that writing to a young pastor named Timothy "For we are not given the spirit of FEAR (timidity, weakness, helplessness, anxiety, concern) but of POWER and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Tim. 1:7

5) Believe me I am not minimizing, . . .

Since others, rightly, remind me of over-optimistuc calls in 2018 and 22, I will remind many of you that 1 year ago;
1) When you were freaking out over the Trump ballot access, I told you he would not be removed from a single ballot. +1 2) WHen you were freaking out about the criminal indictments, I Said they would all be delayed until irrelevant, overturned, or dropped. +2
3) WHen you were, and are, freaking out that Rutabaga will be replaced by Newsome or Big Mike, I said nope.

We'll see.

1) Hear me. We must always be vigilant. Yes, the DemoKKKrats will try everything legal and illegal in 2024. Yes, they'll try harvesting. Yes, they'll try mules.

2 2) NO Christian can live in constant hand wringing always worried about what THEY will do. Jesus didn't proclaim one defensive action. He said put on your armor, the "Kicketh butteth." (I think that's one of Paul's letters some place).

1) A few observations. President Trump has a once in a lifetime opportunity to shatter both the union & black support for DemoKKKrats. I expect him to return to unions again, esp. after New Kabul (NYC) announced it would hire illegal criminals under "lowered" requirements. 2) For all you butterbiscuit Nick Knackers out there, she couldn't pull this off in 100 years even if she married Yeeze & learned rap.

3) As I wrote of before here, the "Two DemoKKKrat Civil Wars" have continued uninterrupted: Israel/Jews v Hamas/Pales & illegal criminals . . .

Some extended info on both the border and on Nick Knack's strategy (the former courtesy of Zen Master, the latter courtesy of Rich Baris @Peoples_Pundit

1) Zen Master says the Court did not make any broad sweeping decision on state's rights, on protecting theborder . . . @Peoples_Pundit 1) contd . . . only a narrow ruling that the feds could pull up the wire. He said TX was not opposing that---but shortly after the ruling Abbott order new wire put don.

2) In his opinion the 10th Amendment DOES apply and a state has a Constitutional right to resist invasion.

1) Fascinating discussion between Sean Parnell @SeanParnellUSA and Rich Baris @Peoples_Pundit.

2) Early on, the DemoKKKrat/RINO donors convinced DeSoros to get in. Their real purpose was to use him to split MAGA for Nick Knack Paddywhack Give a Uke a Bomb. @SeanParnellUSA @Peoples_Pundit 3) After months of no movement, followed by the disaster for DeSoros in IA, clearly that strategy failed.

4) This (IMHO) did not ever "split" the MAGA vote because the hardcore DeSorosoids were (mostly) never in that group to begin with.

1) After a night's sleep, I think as much as anything the reality of a massive impending election loss followed by vengeance is settling in on the DemoKKKrat plantation. 2) In part---not all of it, but some---I think people like the CO supes are hoping for, and trying to provoke, a violent response from us so that Rutabaga can lock the country down for a year. Don't fall for it.

Baris "Inside the Numbers" looking at the Emerson poll. @Peoples_Pundit

1) Emerson deliberately oversampled under 35 to get their attitudes. DEFINITELY a shift to Trump (Rutabaga +5, which is horrible for him.) These are NOT going to DeSoros or Nick Knack. They stay w Rutabaga @Peoples_Pundit 2) In the next age group, Trump is crushing Rutabaga. 35-50s. "This is a big deal." Undecideds break even. Past 59: Trump +2 where Trump lost last time.

3) DeSoros is not getting any dropoffs. They are going Nick Knack.

4) Trump +4 v Rutabaga, add in 3rd parties, Trump +6

1) Every week new new paid troop of DeSorosoids arrives, always with a new attack on Trump. This week it's "baggage/drama."

2) Ever hear of Alfred Dreyfus? He had a lot of "baggage."

3) He was a French artillery officer who was convicted in 1894 of treason and espionage. 4) This was in the wake of the debacle of the Franco-Prussian War, where the Huns kicked the Frenchies' asses.

5) France needed a scapegoat, and found one in Dreyfus. I won't go into the details of how he was wrongly convicted. I'll skip to the main reason.

6) He was a Jew.

1) Time for a reality bath here. Later, I will be discussing some of the latest econ stats. I don't think many will like them, but they are what they are.

2) More to the point now, though: remember in 2016 all those people trying to derail Trump from getting the elec college? 3) At that time, I kept pointing out that in real life there is a clock---it strongly worked against us in 2020---but it always works. That clock said that, as I recall, by Dec. 12 of 2016 all the electors had to be submitted. Thus efforts to stall or interfere with those . . .

No one can prove "who shot last" in any war, but there is a remote possibility that Harry Truman fired, or caused to be fired, the "last shots" in both World Wars.

1) In the Great War, Lt. Truman was commanding a field gun firing at the Germans. He fired right up to 11:00 am. 2) In WW II, it was President Truman's order to drop the atomic bombs on Japan, essentially the last shot in that war (though some Japanese units held out in China, the Philippines, and elsewhere for a while).

3) Symbolically, Truman fired the shots ending both wars.
