First of all, I want to say how overwhelmed and grateful I am to have received the love, support and kindness from strangers around the world. As an Indigenous woman, I embody the messages of survivorship through autonomy and sovereignty over my body everyday. I had a really rough upbringing growing up in the ghetto of Thunder Bay, Ontario. This city is riddled with violence, corruption and a hauntedness you can feel as you walk the streets. I come from a line of strong, yet humble ppl who loved me the best they can with what they had.
