lately a lot of doctors have been putting me on to how terrible mixing fruits and veggies in a smoothie is. especially for people with IBS or gut issues.
when you think about it, it makes sense. fruits have a different digestive speed than veggies and veggies are easier on the gut when cooked, steamed, or chopped up.
