The annual report is out today, I've had a quick skim read and thought I'd share a few observations.

CO Profit: £174.8 (+26.6)

LY: 11.66%
TY: 17.95% (+6.29%)

#WarhammerCommunity As stated in the CEO summary, another record year for GW Plc in terms of sales and profitability.

As in investor prospect, GW is growing its dividend payouts year on year. Share price remains strong, 2nd only the block-busting 2020-21 period.

Impressive stuff.

Active Measures: the use of misinformation to spread a far-right anti-semitic conspiracy theory to attack Games Workshop.

In amongst the recent discourse regarding women Custodes, there has been a concerning idea planted and spread.

I recently ran 2 polls asking if people thought if there would be enough stock, and if GW's website could handle the launch.

Only 1 in 5 people voted yes, and almost 2/3 said no.

Or to look at it another way, there was a 3:1 ratio of those not thinking there will be stock to those who did.

So not great confidence here /2

Horus Heresy - Age of Darkness: the next year!

Absolutely thrilled to see that new plastic Space Marine squads are in the works 😃

A MKVI Assault Squad and MKIII Tactical / Support Squad are revealed. So much potential revealed in these two images!

#Warmongers #HorusHeresy The MKVI Assault Squad has a new design Warhawk Jump Pack along with a redesigned torso rig and harness for the flight unit.

A combat shield is shown, the first time a generic heresy kit will feature this gear.

The MKIIIs appear to be compatible with Support and Heavy weapons.

Warhammer Fest 2023: single day ticket holder review.

Returning after a pause since 2019, Games Workshop's signature event has returned and I went along as a non-gaming, non Golden Demon entrant.

Here are my thoughts on the day.

Opening hours: 08:00 to 19:00

@warhammer sent out an email on Friday at 20:40 containing the wrong opening time (10:00)
