I’m very excited to be on my period today. In the last 2wks I’ve established a Free Likkle Cupboard of Sanitary Napkins on my Hall to reduce the amount of times a college woman will have to choose between a meal or a pad while on her period. Today, I’m reminded that my period is a symbol of connection, unity & community with other Women. I share in her struggles, her pain, her diarrhea, her cramps, her nausea, her immobility etc while on her period.
