I feel like this information will only become more relevant as we head towards 2025.
🧵 My (white) husband preaches a very specific mantra around white folks like him when something racist or homophobic or transphobic or ableist or sexist happens in front of them: 1) Focus on the victim, go to them FIRST.

2) STATE LOUDLY when speaking with the victim: I'M SO SORRY THIS HAPPENED, THIS IS NOT OKAY WITH ME & I'M SURE THERE ARE OTHERS HERE WHO FEEL THE SAME.

3) Then openly ask the space: Who else isn't okay with this?
