who work in the film/TV industry and one or both have to go on location...no more Netflix for you 😅 (yes, I clicked on "I'm traveling". That worked for a week...even a commercial takes longer than a week to shoot) I could open another account and write it off as a business expense, but I'm not going to. First of, pay writers. Second, pay everybody making your products, third, there are other industries that require going on location and they can't write this off...so I'm taking a stance

A thread about circumstances: A couple of months ago a friend of mine, who is an accomplished filmmaker and now teaches at a prestigious film school, calls me to ask if I know [Palestinian person who shall remain anonymous unless they reveal themselves]... While it's somewhat silly to assume your one Palestinian friend knows a random other Palestinian person, in this case I did know who he was talking about because that Palestinian is a well known activist. I said "yes, why"? And to my great surprise my teacher friend tells me...
