Today the Supreme Court will hear arguments in Glacier NW, Inc. v. Int’l Bhd. of Teamsters — a case that could weaken one of the most effective bargaining tools available to workers: The right to strike.
In 2017, cement truck drivers — union members of Teamsters Local 174 — went on strike against Glacier NW during contract negotiations. Glacier NW alleges that striking drivers intentionally sabotaged operations and should be held liable for all economic losses.

Republicans are using the court to unleash a revolution. They’re taking a sledgehammer to every principle & precedent of the last century that had been moving us slowly toward a society where women, POC, LGBTQ+, religious minorities & others had a shot at equality.
