For those not realising how severely Lismore has been impacted, amongst houses and shops that went under, also police station, fire station, centrelink, disability services, op shops such as St Vincent's, Lifeline etc, all went under water. Looting is rife and many ... cars and homes that survived the floods are now being subjected to break ins. Have heard various reports of vehicles having windows smashed in by bricks or tearing off their mirrors to smash to look for change. My daughters last pair of shoes was stolen from the back door.
