#BREAKING Sr Adv Kishore Datta arguing a matter on egg-pelting at Alipore Court premises at former sports minister #AroopBiswas.

Sr Adv: Lawyers were there with eggs in hand. I feel ashamed to be a part of this fraternity. I will argue that this is criminal contempt…interfering with the course of justice.

#CalcuttaHighCourtImage Court: now this matter is pending in a PIL before the Chief Justice. We have read that an SOP is to be formulated.

Datta: unfortunately, things are being invented and the judiciary had to step in. Everything is happening in front of the police, with people who are supposed to be in custody of law.

Kerala High Court has orally remarked that it is inclined to allow some of the crew members of MSC Elsa 3 ship to leave India.

Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas is hearing a plea of the crew members seeking to return to their home countries.

The ship had sank off the coast of Kerala on May 25, 2025 and the crew members had been in India since then.

#KeralaHighCourt #MSCElsa3Image The Court had orally remarked:
They can be witnesses, they can give evidence. they can always ask them. Even as far as petitioners 1 and 3 are concerned, some conditions are imposed to give evidence as and when required, that would be sufficient, I think...Even if they are in the lap of luxury, still to be confined to one place, which is an alien place, without any time limit, it would be very agonising...They have been here for 1 year without any idea about how much longer they would have to stay...What is the requirement of their presence here? Suppose, appropriate conditions can be imposed. What are the conditions that can be imposed to ensure that they appear as and when required? Suppose they have been made witnesses in the report, they have to come and give evidence, what measures can you adopt?

ASGI: Whatever conditions that this Hon’ble Court may impose.
