#SupremeCourt quashes rape on false promise of marriage case filed by an actress against Tamil Director-Producer Seeman, in light of affidavits by both parties agreeing to put a quietus on the matter.

Seeman in his affidavit tendered an unconditional apology, withdrew allegations made against the actress, and undertook not to attempt to contact her.
The actress in her affidavit withdrew her complaint/FIR against Seeman.
