Our MPs are scrutinizing the Coffee agreement the Gov’t entered into with Uganda Vinci Coffee Company (UVCC) Ltd. We have discovered a number of issues that make the agreement bad. For instance, the company, UVCC was incorporated on the same day the agreement was signed 1/ … the agreement has no termination clause, UVCC is not a foreign company and therefore the clause that requires Gov’t to protect local coffee processors doesn’t stand. Vinci is a locally incorporated company.
