@atrupar @chrislhayes China’s producing 1 millions test kits a week already and we’re JUST getting to our first 1 million???? WHY?? We’ve had a MONTH to prepare? WHAT IS GOING ON? I am a physician. Doctors and nurses are on the brink of boycotting hospitals because they are asking us to accept @atrupar @chrislhayes thr possibilities of contracting this virus. I have no problem doing my part, even going into hatm’s way. But I want to be as protected as possible. Where are our triage points? Why are possibly infected patients still being told to go to Prompt Cares and ERs where they can

1/ Ok so I’ve read some of the Kavanaugh “classified” documents. In my opinion, there is only one reason why there would be a stink about releasing documents such as this: 2/ They reveal clearly Kavanaugh’s deep held beliefs on controversial topics that the GOP wants to keep hidden from the public. There is obviously nothing in them that is a national security risk and any personal identifying information could easily be redacted.

The American people voted for Trump (so they say) and it is he who they elected to make these decisions. They didn’t vote for his Cabinet to hopefully keep impending doom at bay.

I was asked what I thought the "obvious solution" was to the mass shootings. So here's my 2 cents:

-People should have to obtain a permit, contingent on passing a expanded background check, before buying a firearm. /1 -Ban felons or people with mental health problems from having weapons.
-Make sure that mental health covers ALL mentally sick people who have demonstrated a propensity for violence. Right now the only thing that is flagged is someone who has been involuntarily committed. /2
