We made a small guide to some of the most regularly used far right symbols so that anyone can spot fascists and their pals easier. We chose a number that we have seen in person or in active online spaces, as well as some that are rare but worth remembering. 1/
(CW for symbols)
This guide is not a full one, the fascist movement, like any movement is constantly evolving and shifting. Some symbols can get picked up and used overnight and others can suddenly get dropped without warning. 2/

The latest updates from @PSCupdates, about their talk with the cops were released yesterday.
The decision not to bow to pressure is undoubtedly the right one
However their update indicates Police did not warn them of a highly publicised fascist rally, aiming to attack the demo
Perhaps the Police merely forgot the minor detail of multiple fascist groups including large numbers of far right football hooligans, planning to meet at the cenotaph & then blatantly attack people in the streets, under the excuse of protecting an utterly unthreatened monument

Probably wise to avoid central London today: if you didn't know already, there's going to be a large anti lockdown rally, and there's significant involvement from a variety of far right groups
We expect it to get messy fast and be heavily policed. Also it'll be total covid party
The more hardline elements of the crowd are likely seeking to cause fights. We know that people from the DFLA (a street fascist org that grew out of bits of various right wing football firms) are involved in organising the event & that they expect there to be carnage.

It's high time we did a thread introducing people to the deep ideological, financial, and practical links between TERFs and the American far right.
Essentially there is a wide array of evidence showing that anti trans rhetoric is being used to further the far right cause
Here's a classic case study: the bathroom access debate in the USA.
It's a known tactic of segregationists: deny the target group access to bathrooms and you deny them access to public life. That's why they used it against black people in the 60s
