How I went from $1,000 to $1,000,000 trading shitcoins and small caps.

The only strategy you'll ever need πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡ - get a following on X by writing threads
- contribute to every single shitcoin presale and instantly take initial at 2x
- only buy long term bags with OTC for dirt cheap
- let everyone know how much I'm winning for more followers and deals
- only post when it's paid

Emissions are a core bootstrapping mechanism for most DeFi protocols

They provide enough runway to prove product-market fit without the necessity of VC investment

Protocols pass their bootstrapping phase when fees match or exceed emissions.

So how will @LybraFinanceLSD pass? Currently, Lybras TVL and eUSD growth are down to emissions.

No whales will randomly deposit thousands of ETH into a protocol for nothing

They're farmers looking to optimize yield, nothing wrong with that, it's what comes after that counts

Day #1

What skills are required to write for crypto projects?

- DeFi knowledge (basic)
- Understanding the Twitter algorithm
- Writing (threads, copy, long-form)
- Systems & Tools for ideation & execution
- Client communication
- Client outreach
- Meme culture

Continued πŸ‘‡ The reason I noted only basic DeFi knowledge is because you don't need a wealth of cross-context knowledge to write for a singular client.

You need to know their niche inside out, that's all.

If I'm writing about GMX, do I need to understand Bitcoin DeFi? No

Every single dollar you have invested in DeFi carries a huge opportunity cost, either positive or negative.

However, most are too scared to realize losses and often end up losing more in missed opportunities.

Here's how diamond handing almost cost me $9,000 and counting πŸ‘‡ Back in February this year I started to DCA into $PSI.

I ended up DCAing from $5 all the way down below $2 until late April when I dumped my entire stack.

I ended up realizing a loss of around $7,000 from a $14,000 initial investment, pretty rough.

Why you may ask? Well... ↓ Image

The Shanghai upgrade is 24 hours away, but no one knows what will happen to all the unlocked ETH.

Which protocols will the ETH flow to? and what metrics should you be tracking?

Here's everything you need to know and why the upgrade is not a sell-the-news event for LSDs πŸ‘‡ To better understand the game theory behind the upgrade, you need to know what's actually taking place.

Essentially, ETH staked withdrawals all the way back from 2020 will go live.

The game theory is: which protocols provide optimal yields & strategies for the freed up ETH?

Day 8 - 2 to 20 ETH challenge

Portfolio

・ $3187 in $SD (10%)
・ $1226 in $PENDLE (40%)
・ $65 in ETH / Stables

Portfolio value: $4478 (24% or $878 gain)

ETH Value: 2.41 (20% or 0.41 ETH gain)

Changes & Breakdown πŸ‘‡

https://t.co/2kqxRvOWb7debank.com/profile/0x7448… No changes, but got pretty rekt holding my $SD, losing over $1,000 in portfolio value.

Although, the other LSD/RWA project I would have rotated into saw similar declines.

- overall market downturn the last 24 hours, but has begun to pick up.

As mentioned, looking to diversify.

Thoughts & disclaimers about the current 2-20 $ETH challenge:

Changes being made πŸ‘‡ During the challenge I will be tracking:

β€’ My portfolio in $ value
β€’ The value of 1 ETH

Why?

To see if it was better to just hold my 2 ETH than try and trade, and how much 'extra' I really made.

ETH is ultra sound money remember

Now on to the disclaimer πŸ‘‡

Day 1 - 2 to 20 ETH challenge

Starting positions:

・ 723 $LODE @ $1.24 (0.5 ETH - $900)
・ 5017 $XCAL @ $0.20 (0.55 ETH - $1,000)
・ 606 $PSI @ $2.46 (0.83 ETH - $1,500)

Portfolio value: $3,600

Explanation

debank.com/profile/0x7448… β€’ $LODE has many upcoming catalysts after recovering from their exploit. Being $RDNT's much smaller competitor,

β€’ Platform relaunch soon + new audits with staking R/R is good here

β€’ A pro is the thick liquidity

Willing to hold and add over 1-2 weeks, glad I waited to enter

Day 0 - 2 to 20 ETH challenge

Starting tomorrow, I will be sharing my trades and the reasoning behind them, almost solely done on FA.

Disclaimer:

Starting with 2E, we must be degen to make good gains. This is not financial advice, all funds are at risk

debank.com/profile/0x7448… I'm fully aware of the potential for me to pump my own positions and this is something I've taken into account, but cannot fully remove.

Hence why it's imperative I put a disclaimer that we will be dealing with low caps.

Let ze games begin

I've been bridging to other chains, trying to be objective as possible, but it just feels desperate.

It's no wonder Arbitrum TVL is still growing post-airdrop.

I just don't see the competition on other chains like I see on Arbitrum.

What chains should I be trying? I love that Arbitrum kept $ETH as the native/gas token of the chain. I spoke about this multiple times pre-airdrop and compared to other L2s, it's kept the chain 'pure'.

L2s are supposed to scale Ethereum, so why be hyper-focused on a new token?

1/ The long-awaited $ARB airdrop is about to become reality.

However, the biggest airdrop in history doesn't just happen overnight.

So what got us here in the first place and who were the protocols to make it happen?

A walk down memory lane with @arbitrum.

(πŸ’™, 🧑) 🧡 2/ What we'll cover in this thread:

1️⃣ Arbitrum's History
2️⃣ Adoption in Numbers
3️⃣ Catalysts For Growth
4️⃣ Current Landscape - Navigating Arbitrum
5️⃣ A Post-Airdrop Arbitrum
6️⃣ A thank you

Let's beginπŸ‘‡

GambleFi competition is heating up and with news of the $ARB airdrop, degens will want to gamble with their stimulus check.

So I've aggregated all the important updates & projects over the last two weeks, so you don't have to 🎲 🧡 Image We've seen a few more low-cap projects launch, testing out new flywheels or products.

Most notably $LOTTO & $BET.

Will player-vs-player or player-vs-house take the edge?

My previous list & more specific information below ↓

1/ I expect much of the $1bn+ liquidity injection coming into the Arbitrum ecosystem to trickle down into major alts + competitors

It's important to ask yourself:

β€’ Who is second best?
β€’ Who will handle the new volume?

Here are the projects I expect to benefit the most↓ 2/ 1️⃣ First up is the collection of Arbitrum native protocols that are the most prominent.

Thanks to @nansen_ai, we can see two protocols you should all know came out on top.

$GMX & $MAGIC.

I expect to see $GMX above $100.

So then we ask, who will handle the volume?

A diversified portfolio is cool...

But no one ever speaks about diversified off-ramps.

Relying on a singular CEX is scary & defeats the purpose of DeFi.

Have been playing around with @spillways10's VISA cards and been pretty impressed.

What's your go-to working off-ramp? Talking about spillways, they went multi-chain last week.

What does this mean?

Privacy cross-chain without the burden of high gas fees. Looking to test this out on Arbitrum.

For now, this is one of the real use cases of zk until more adoption comes.

What if it really is just as simple as buying fear and selling euphoria?

Many a friend of mine couldn't bid the USDC dips on their favorite alts because...

The only dry powder they held was in USDC.

DeFi is inherently risky, even our 'safe' money must be diversified. Image I learned this lesson the hard way after the FTX crash, mainly because I was overexposed without enough dry powder sidelined.

Ended up selling on the way down, potentially at the bottom of the market, only to re-buy later.

I literally did the opposite of what I should have done

The underlying gatekeeping that occurs in crypto may be the most hypocritical mindset to exist.

The frustration of those who have spent the last five years trolling instead of doing anything valuable is bubbling to the surface.

I'm sorry, time doesn't equal value ↓ This post is derived from the multitude of posts that I see 'OG' accounts making about:

β€’ Upcoming creators
β€’ New projects/personalities
β€’ New niches/methods

The unrelenting march of adoptions' biggest hurdle may actually be its loudest supporters with an underlying agenda.

Many don't understand what I mean here.

When I mean 'take profits' I don't mean sell your entire bag.

The goal is to secure your initial + some profit while leaving a moon bag for the bullrun.

There's never a reason to sell your entire bag if you're in big profit πŸ‘‡ If I can take my initials + profit from a project I'm now not emotionally attached to that project's pump and dumps.

What does this allow me to do?

Hold my moonbag regardless of that project's PA or the market as a whole.

What does this leave me with?

Liquid capital + moonbag

Ideas that somehow nobody thinks of, but seem totally obvious in hindsight

2⃣ How Stablz captures yield

Ethereum's upcoming Shanghai upgrade does not guarantee a pump to LSD projects.

Instead, there is a multitude of potential outcomes from the $29 billion ETH unlock.

Will Lido continue to dominate? Will stakers dump their ETH? or will LSDs flourish?

Everything you must know πŸ‘‡ Image Before we dive into the different potential outcomes, we must educate ourselves on how this vast amount of liquid ETH will come into circulation.

Contrary to popular belief, it won't be all at once.

@WestieCapital's in-depth thread gives us an estimate of 70 days or more.

Over $27 billion in $ETH will be unlocked with the Shanghai upgrade.

This means the gold rush for LSDs market share has begun and major competition to provide the highest APR has insued.

The question is, who will win?

Here's 9 LSD protocols that have a chance: 🧡 πŸ‘‡ Image Before we start, WTF is the Shanghai upgrade?

It's the first major upgrade coming to Ethereum after PoS in March.

It will release all the staked ETH currently locked helping validate and secure the Ethereum network.

(Remember staking ETH was possible because of PoS)
